Widower dating sites in kenya sandra webb university of sussex
Why do scammers target American women, more so than women in other countries, even with the help of perhaps women in their country or other fake persons, for money under the pretense of wanting a genuine love relationship with American women?
These scammers claim they have lost a wife to cancer, an accident, or betrayal, left with offspring who need a mother, and want to be married again, after suffering months or years of loneliness themselves and decided it was time for them to resume their lives by finding love via social media.
As an academician, my opinion only, I think we need to analyze why many/some American women fall prey to romance scammers.
Since America is an individualistic (separatist) and racist society, we have used our privileges based on race, class, and gender that affects all areas of life, to separate ourselves from each other, and treat each other with an attitude of indifference based on race, class, and gender.
We were both on a dating site and he quicky asked me to jump over to Yahoo and use regular email so I set up a bogus account on Yahoo and also gmail, and Installed the chat. Widowed, one child , age 15 however, once we got to regular email his emails were very choppy. He said he was self Employed oil rig engineer in Houston, Tx with 8 men working with him.
I got to know this guy on eharmony not even a week ago. He is a hydrogeology consultant and does a lot of deep sea diving/drilling.After 2 days we knew each other, he all of a sudden needed to go to Alaska for his contracting job for 5 weeks.I requested to send selfies to each other everyday for those 5 weeks so that we know what's going on with each other. He said he can't call out, can't send and receive pictures. He can text and only receive calls at safety areas. He works alone on the project and work on the night shift. I do hope everything is true, but my instincts do tell me something is not right, a little bit too good to be true.
